The Georgian home-cuisine restaurant «Kuvshin» offers guests one of the biggest and varied Lenten menus in Moscow. And it’s not just because the authentic Georgian cuisine has dozens of dishes from vegetables, mushrooms, legumes and cereals. Specially for fasting customers Kuvshin’s cooks changed authentic Georgian dishes, having replaced meat with vegetables, mushrooms, legumes and grain. For example, national dish odzhakhuri (which translates as “family dish”) is prepared only with vegetables (500 ₽), sacivi with cauliflower (500 ₽), and in Greek salad (540 ₽) feta is replaced with soy cheese. “Kuvshin” offers Lenten menu of salads, cold and hot snacks, soups, main dishes, bakes and desserts. The Lenten offer contains: Kakhetian (430 ₽) and Imeretian (480 ₽) eggplants and eggplants with walnuts (470 ₽), ajapsandal (490 ₽), set of fresh vegetables and greens (650 ₽), mushroom kuchmachi (460 ₽), mamaliga (350 ₽), green beans with Lenten cheese and greens (490 ₽), buckwheat with mushrooms and garlic croutons (500 ₽). During the duration of the Lent, menu will also have: mushroom soup (450 ₽), vegetable borsch (380 ₽), sorrel soup (450 ₽), khachapuri with potatoes and greens (450 ₽), grilled vegetable mix (450 ₽) and etc. For the dessert there will be apple strudel with lime sorbet (490 ₽), churchkhela (450 ₽), pichkhebi – puff pastry rolls with nut filling (400 ₽).
