Guram Urchukhishvili is the new chef of “Kuvshin”
“Kuvshin” has always been positioned as an authentic restaurant of home Georgian cuisine. Since the opening, we have been using farm products and natural spices brought from different regions of Georgia. Our menu has traditional dishes and drinks. And, of course, the most experienced masters of Georgian cuisine work in the kitchen. Recently, specially invited chef from Georgia, head our kitchen team.
We are pleased to introduce you – Guram Urchukhishvili!
Guram comes from Kakheti. When he was young age, he went to Tbilisi, where he studied cooking by one of the best chefs, Nodar Andriashvili. Then, there was the internship in France and Italy, here Guram mastered the technological secrets of European cooks. Returning to his motherland, he traveled to small cities and villages, where he was collecting authentic recipes of folk cuisine. Guram says, that he sees his task in presenting to the guests of the “Kuvshin” all the richness and variety of Georgian cuisine. The chef is going to include new dishes in the menu and rebrand some of the popular menu items by giving them an authentic taste. The first results of his cooking can be trying right now.
